Tonight we stopped by McDonalds after work to pick up dinner. It was a special fundraiser for Hope’s school. It was super crazy in there. The restaurant was packed! I was glad we were able to go. The girls enjoy going and seeing the teachers working at McDonalds. Last year Hope told me it was good for them because if they decided not to be teachers anymore they would have something else they could do instead. I love the way she thinks sometimes.
Tomorrow one of my coworkers and I will be reorganizing the storage area at work in the morning and then the girls both have dentist appointments in the afternoon. It will be Emmy’s first appointment. She sometimes does not like to let her pediatrician look in her mouth, so hopefully this will go OK.
J got me the best present the other day. It’s a keychain that is a digital picture album. It holds about 100 pictures. What a special present to get.
Things are slowly progressing on the creative front since Christmas. I have just not felt the creative juices flowing. I got this book for Christmas. I have drawn out a couple of plans for a quilt and a seasonal wall hanging, but have not gotten any of the squares printed yet. I was able to get some excellent deals at JoAnn’s on clearance holiday and fall fabrics for the seasonal quilts. This weekend is a three day weekend so hopefully I will be able to get some serious quilting time in.
