Fun Mail

I received some mail a few days ago & I can’t find my camera to take pics. I was so excited when I opened the package. Katy was so kind to send me a set of hand warmers. I have lost 55 pounds in the last year and I am always cold now. I love these, and they are already at my desk and in use.  Thanks Katy!

I found a kit for this wall hanging a while back. I enjoyed making it as a surprise for J. Here it is hanging above his desk.

Easter Weekend

I took no photos over the weekend. My parents took the girls for a few days so I could recover from my brain injury & I slept most of the weekend. We did go to my parent’s house Saturday evening so we could be with the girls for Easter. I am glad J was well enough to drive.

I feel like I am slowly starting to heal. I haven’t tried to say a sentence that came out with the words in the wrong order in several days, and I am processing much more quickly. I am certainly not back to normal yet, but I feel like I am making progress.

Towards the middle of last week, I felt a little like I had been sharing some medicinal items with this guy. LOL!

Humpty Dumpty

Last week I fell and bumped my head. I feel like Humpty Dumpty. I made it to work for the first time in nearly a week, and I only made it 1/2 day. J has the flu, and the girls have been troopers!

Today my Dad came and picked them up for a long Easter weekend with my parents. It’s nice to be able to have some time to recover, but my house is so quiet. Good thing I have the dog and cats around to keep me company.

Back Again

I can’t believe it’s been so many months since I blogged. Life just seemed to get in the way & I wasn’t doing a lot of crafting/sewing. I didn’t have a dedicated space and it really cut down on the amount of creating I was able to do.

I recently got a 25 ft travel trailer to use as a “Mom Cave”. I can keep all my crafting/sewing items set up, everything has a cupboard/drawer to go in, and I can go out for a few minutes at a time or a few hours. It’s soooo awesome!

I have created some photo collages, made three girls skirts, put a Thomas the Train fabric picture on a T-shirt for my cousin Noah, and put fabric flowers on a shirt for his sister Zoe.

I am working on a Christmas present that’s off limits for a few more months, but I can show you some cute hair clips I made for the girls in our family.
